Se gu\u00eda a los estudiantes a trav\u00e9s de la respuesta de &quot;lucha o huida&quot;, un mecanismo evolutivo de supervivencia que se activa al percibir amenazas, ya sean f\u00edsicas o psicol\u00f3gicas. El curso explica el papel de las principales hormonas del estr\u00e9s (cortisol, adrenalina (epinefrina) y noradrenalina (norepinefrina), describiendo c\u00f3mo afectan al cuerpo y la mente tanto en dosis saludables como en niveles cr\u00f3nicamente altos. Los participantes comprender\u00e1n c\u00f3mo el S\u00edndrome General de Adaptaci\u00f3n se desarrolla en tres etapas: alarma, resistencia y agotamiento, y c\u00f3mo el estr\u00e9s prolongado puede tener graves consecuencias f\u00edsicas y psicol\u00f3gicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una secci\u00f3n clave explora el concepto de neuroplasticidad: la notable capacidad del cerebro para cambiar y adaptarse a lo largo de la vida. El tema aborda c\u00f3mo el estr\u00e9s a corto plazo puede mejorar la concentraci\u00f3n y el aprendizaje, pero el estr\u00e9s cr\u00f3nico tiene efectos perjudiciales en la estructura y la funci\u00f3n cerebral. Por ejemplo, el estr\u00e9s cr\u00f3nico puede reducir el tama\u00f1o del hipocampo (lo que afecta la memoria y el aprendizaje), sobreactivar la am\u00edgdala (lo que aumenta la ansiedad) y debilitar la corteza prefrontal (lo que reduce la concentraci\u00f3n y la capacidad para tomar decisiones). A pesar de estos desaf\u00edos, el curso enfatiza que el cerebro puede recuperarse: mediante h\u00e1bitos positivos como el ejercicio f\u00edsico, la atenci\u00f3n plena y la participaci\u00f3n en actividades creativas, los estudiantes pueden fortalecer su resiliencia e incluso revertir algunos de los efectos negativos del estr\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalmente, el tema incluye ejercicios pr\u00e1cticos y actividades de reflexi\u00f3n para ayudar a los participantes a reconocer sus propias respuestas al estr\u00e9s, comprender los cambios fisiol\u00f3gicos en situaciones reales y comenzar a desarrollar mecanismos de afrontamiento m\u00e1s saludables. Se anima a los participantes a explorar sus desencadenantes personales, experimentar con pr\u00e1cticas para reducir el estr\u00e9s y adoptar t\u00e9cnicas para fomentar un cerebro m\u00e1s adaptable
