Cursisten maken kennis met het verschil tussen irrationele en rationele gedachten en ontdekken hoe vervormde denkpatronen \u2013 zoals perfectionisme, doemdenken, alles-of-niets-denken en mentale filtering \u2013 stress kunnen versterken en het welzijn kunnen ondermijnen. De cursus benadrukt het belang van het herkennen, uitdagen en vervangen van irrationele overtuigingen door meer evenwichtige, evidence-based perspectieven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Een belangrijk aandachtspunt is de toepassing van Albert Ellis&#039; ABC-model (en het uitgebreide ABCDE-model), dat leert dat onze emoties en gedragingen niet worden gevormd door gebeurtenissen zelf, maar door de overtuigingen die we over die gebeurtenissen hebben. Leerlingen oefenen met het identificeren van automatische negatieve gedachten en gebruiken gestructureerde zelfreflectie- en discussietechnieken om deze te vervangen door gezondere, rationelere overtuigingen. Deze verschuiving helpt ongezonde emotionele reacties (zoals angst, paniek of schaamte) te verminderen en stimuleert adaptief gedrag dat veerkracht en effectieve probleemoplossing ondersteunt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aan de hand van praktische voorbeelden en begeleide activiteiten ontwikkelen deelnemers vaardigheden in cognitieve herstructurering. Ze leren het bestaan van irrationele gedachten te accepteren zonder de inhoud ervan te geloven, en ze actief te bespreken en te vervangen. Door rationeel denken te bevorderen, stelt dit onderwerp individuen en teams in staat meer emotionele controle op te bouwen, de communicatie op de werkplek te verbeteren en een meer ondersteunende,
